The chaplain: more than a title
The chaplain brings spiritual care to the places where people suffer, regardless of background, belief or situation.

01A representative, not a denomination
A chaplain does not represent one particular church but the Creator, so they can walk with people of any background.
02Goes out to find those in need
They do not wait for people to arrive with their needs: they visit nursing homes, prisons, hospitals and places no one wants to go.
03Pastor, counselor and friend
They listen, pray, advise and accompany people through illness, grief, crisis and transition.
What does a chaplain do?
A calling to serve
They are men and women who carry out pastoral work in public and private institutions, representing not one particular church but the Creator of this universe. They do not wait for people to come with their needs: they go out to find those in need, wherever they are.
