Pastoral and ministerial path

Beginning in 1998, René and Dayamis served at the Liga Evangélica Church of Cuba, where they began their pastoral ministry under the training, guidance and formation of pastors Alejandro Nieto Sellés and Alida León.

That same year, with the Lord's help and the support of a team of leaders committed to God's work, they founded the first church in their own home. This event marked the beginning of a path dedicated to evangelism, planting churches and strengthening the Christian work.

Over the years they have remained committed to God's calling, understanding that ministry is not limited to the walls of a church but extends to every place where there is a spiritual, emotional or human need.

Leadership training and formation

Throughout their ministry they have carried out important work as marriage counselors and as mentors to pastors, leaders and Christian workers. Their service has contributed to the development and strengthening of Christian leadership in Cuba, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador and the United States.

Their calling is marked by a commitment to teaching the Word of God, training new leaders and providing spiritual support to individuals and families. Their desire is to help prepare men and women who serve the Lord with faithfulness, wisdom, love and responsibility.

Ministry in the United States

Since 2014, René and Dayamis have continued their ministry from Houston, Texas, United States, extending their service and commitment to the Church internationally.

As part of the Chaplains In Service ministry, they embrace the responsibility of serving beyond the church walls, bringing spiritual support, guidance, comfort and hope to those going through difficult times. They recognize that chaplaincy is an opportunity to show God's love through a compassionate presence, attentive listening and a genuine willingness to help others.

Identifying with the biblical principle expressed in Luke 4:18-19, they understand that God's calling means proclaiming good news, bringing hope to the brokenhearted, strengthening those facing hard circumstances and lovingly serving people in need of spiritual support.

To them, the chaplain is a representative of God, a spiritual pastor and a counselor who responds to human needs with sensitivity, wisdom and compassion. Their work can take place in hospitals, prisons, nursing homes, communities and other places where people need to be heard, guided and accompanied.

They also recognize the importance of continuous preparation, spiritual growth and practical training in order to carry out this service with responsibility, excellence and respect for every person.

Commitment and vision for the future

René and Dayamis Milian remain firmly committed to the Lord and to the mission of helping prepare a new generation of Christian leaders. They long for men and women, strengthened in the Word of God and equipped to serve, to keep spreading the gospel and leaving a positive mark on the Church and on society.

Their path reflects a deep conviction: serving God is a responsibility lived every day, inside and outside the church, through actions that show the love of Christ.

With gratitude for the road traveled and faith in what God will continue to do, René and Dayamis persevere in their pastoral and ministerial calling, striving to make every opportunity to serve an expression of hope, restoration and love for others.

Serving God is a responsibility lived every day, inside and outside the church, through actions that show the love of Christ.

Their commitment remains firm: to serve God, to walk with those in need and to train leaders who will keep carrying the message of Jesus Christ to the nations.
